The 17th Inter University Games were hosted by Ndejje University at their Main campus in Luweero under the theme; “Blending University Education, Sports and the Environment to promote Unity and Sustainable Development” and the games’ slogan will be “A Legacy forever”
The Games marked the climax of the Silver Jubilee (25 years of existence) celebrations for Ndejje University.
Athletes who are pursuing at least a full time recognised one year academic course, competed in 18 sports disciplines including; Athletics- Track and Field (M&W); Badminton(M&W); Basketball(M&W); Chess(M&W); Darts(M&W), Handball(M&W); Karate(M&W); Netball(W); Rugby(M); Soccer(M&W); Swimming(M&W); Table Tennis(M&W); Tae Kwon Do(M&W); Tennis(M&W); Volleyball(M&W); Wood ball(M&W), Skating (Demonstrational) and Beach Volleyball (M&W).
