10th All Africa University Games Kenyatta University 2020

Degree awarding Institutions in Africa can present its own bonafide students born between January 2003 and January 1995, no matter their nationality. Such a university shall require verification by their National University Sports Federations. The program includes: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Football, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball, 3 x 3 basketball, Handball, Swimming, Taekwondo, Karate, Rugby 7’s, in both genders and Netball for women only while Woodball, Roll Ball and Snooker shall be for demonstration. The tournament shall be used to qualify teams for the World University League Finals in 3x3 Basketball (2men & 2 Women – 2020) and Soccer (2 Men & 1 Women – 2021). Double Scoring System: FASU awards medals to winning athletes, and trophies to overall winning universities trophies (Men, Women and Combined) based on the Olympic medal tally system. Overall Trophies (Men, Women and Combined) shall also be given to the National Federations whose universities collect the highest medal tally. Individual Universities and Countries efforts will be recognised. A Pre-Games Scientific conference and heads of delegation meeting is scheduled to take place in July 2019 at Kenyatta University.
